the only sensor that would shut it down as the oil sensor. You should be able to look on the side of your engine and you will see the sensor if it has one it will be a wire going to it. Disconnect that wire to disable the oil sensor

VerifiedCliff, an oil pressure switch will not prevent the unit from cranking - it will shut it down after the unit is running.
If the unit is not cranking, the control fuse is very possibly blown.
