Customer Question

I have a troy bilt 5550 watt generator that hasn't been started in 10 years... has been sitting in the garage. just wondering what things I should do to try to get it going. It had a little bit of fuel in it when I checked... plenty of oil also.
JA: Do you have fuel in the tank? If so, is the shut-off valve open and the fuel clean?
Customer: yes, yes and I put fuel in, but there was a little bit of fuel in it when I added the new fuel like I said, that fuel has been in there for 10years, which is probably a problem
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I think thats everything
