Thanks for helping me. I have lost compression on my Exmark

Customer Question

HI Pearl, thanks for helping me. I have lost compression on my Exmark 48" Turf only loses compression when I engage the blades....any idea what I problem I have?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: I literally just started while cutting a Bermuda lawn
JA: Do you have fuel in the tank? If so, is the shut-off valve open and the fuel clean?
Customer: Yes there is plenty fuel; and my valve stays open til I come in for the evening
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Unless I get stuck with something beyond my expertise
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: Not at this moment, I guess

Not sure why you are stating it is losing compression, but if the mower is stalling out when the blades are engaged, I would check the push rods and make sure you do not have a bent push rod
