Customer Question

I have a 1+ year old troy-bilt pony with 17 hp kohler motor. I mowed about 50 feet; heard a little pop or snap; the engine stopped and will not do anything when the key is turned. I feel it maybe one of the safety switches but not sure.

Checked fuse? Should be inline with the solenoid. If fuse is good. Attempt to jump the solenoid (with brake locked and key on)
