took the bowl off , cleaned it , it tryed to start and then stopped and now it won't start at all.fuel lines are old and creaked and the plastic valve that the fuel line atatches to turns but its not sloppy. i'm goin go out and try to start it again and see if it trys to start.

i just tryed to start it again and it started and then stopped again so i would say its not getting enough fuel to keep running. could it be the pepcock needs to be replaced?

With old hose, you may have a piece of debris stuck in the inlet port with the needle valve. I would replace the fuel line, and clean the needle valve port and fuel inlet to the carburetor.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
where is the needle valve located and could the gas line on/off switch not be letting enough fuel through.
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

The on/off switch is easily tested by removing fuel line at carburetor, and opening the valve, fuel should flow freely. Here is link to carburetor pictures.

Float has to have pin removed, to let it come down with the needle to open the passage. If there is debris, it needs to be blown out in reverse, from needle passage to fuel inlet.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the float is under the bowl i took off earlier to check for water right and the pin is the pin that holds the float in place

yes, and float moves needle valve up anddown
