Was it working and just quit, or did it just not work when you attempted to use it?

Check the seat safety switch if it has one still.

Try to start mower with the PTO engaged, and see if it starts still. if so, use a volt meter and test the power at the clutch to make sure it is receiving the power needed. You can also manually power the clutch from a battery or charger. if clutch comes on, it is in the wiring or the switch. If it doesn't power on by manually putting power to it, the clutch is bad.
