My toro weed eater won't stay running. It will idle while choked but sputters out once taken off choke
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: just started yesterday
JA: Do you have fuel in the tank? If so, is the shut-off valve open and the fuel clean?
Customer: fuel is clean, I put a new mix in yesterday
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: i also replaced the spark plug yesterday

This sounds like a fuel delivery problem. The machine is not getting enough fuel through the carburetor in order to keep it running without the choke being on or closed. You can try adjusting the high speed screw on the carburetor, turn it out about an 1/8 of a turn if you can this should solve the issue that you are having. Otherwise you will need to clean and rebuild the carburetor, install a new repair kit.
