I have a LT1850 Hyr, I have LT1850 Hydro mower and it won't

Customer Question

I have a White LT1850 Hyr
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: I have White LT1850 Hydro mower and it won't start. Loud clunk at engine but won't turn over. Checked battery and even used charger engine boost feature but same thing. thought it was starter so removed it and checked it with charger and it's fine. What else could it be?
JA: Do you have fuel in the tank? If so, is the shut-off valve open and the fuel clean?
Customer: Fuel is fine.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Small Engine Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

Not Poor/Bad service

Don't think that's it as I get same sound when trying it with starter removed. Like power wasn't getting to starter.

Is there a solenoid and where would it be?
Expert:  Wayne replied 1 year ago.

Sorry for the delay

yes I know it is not the starter

remove the spark Plug, and crank it over either with the starter or by hand

see if it turns all the way over

Ok the mower is at my camp so tomorrow morning I'll be up there so I will see. Don't think it is that because the starter never activates and even with starter removed it makes same noise when turning key to start. By the way this afternoon I went ahead and put in new solenoid but no difference.

Thank you for that

I mentioned 2x it is not the starter

remove the spark Plug, and crank it over either with the starter or by handsee if it turns all the way over
