Code 47 is Ignition Fault.

This may turn out to be a major chore. One of the possibilities is a bad magneto. The magnetos are located under the generator and the genset must be completely disassembled to access them.

I am certainly not trying to scare you off, I just want you to be aware of what you might be getting yourself into.

I had already read that exact response on another site, do you have any other thoughts?

That is the about the only thing that is going to be the issue. I will OPT OUT and let another Expert reply if you would like. I would take to a certified dealer for repair. This is going to be a big repair most likely
