I own a Generac 7kw model(###) ###-#### If the control board erroneously thought there was a power outage and turned on the generator, how long would it run before it shut down due to low oil pressure?

Unfortunately, there is no direct answer to your question - there are far too many variables.

If the engine is good and tight, and has no oil leaks, it could run for several hundred hours before it used enough oil to create low oil pressure.

If the engine is loose and worn, and/or has an oil leak, it just all dpeends on how much oil it is using/losing.
