Customer Question

1996 onan genny. Nothing when I hit start button.
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: yes. damn you're fast
JA: Thank you.
Customer: you still there?
JA: What is the model of your '96 RV?
Customer: Winny SunCruiser 34RQ
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I was just looking for a forum to tell me where to start. If it's simple like a fuse or something I can handle it but poutside that I'm no tech.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Always started and ran fine. Never a problem. It's old. I don't get anything, no clicking, no sound at all that tells me that power is actually being delivered to the starter. I have three start stations on the rig and they all get the same result. Over stove at the driver station and on the generator itself.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the RV Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am going to assist you with this.

What is the full model number of the genset?

I know you said you are not able to get too deep into this, but do you have a 12V test light, or a multimeter to do some simple checks with?
