Have a Milwaukee 4202 variable speed Electro-Magnetic Frame Drill Press with a 4262-1 drill motor. Magnet energizes but drill motor does not respond at all. Any suggestions.

Can you turn the chuck by hand?

The motor seems fine. Magnetic base is weak. Only getting 60 volts.

It's getting 115v. Seems like a control board issue. $400+-

Yes I would agree. Somewhere its not getting through, but before I took that plunge I would chase the power coming into it and see if its getting blocked by a replaceable part. I don't believe there is a transformer that could cause this though.
