good morning Mike my name is ***** ***** first off the basics....

radiator clean externally? coolant topped off?

a few things that cause over heat.....

failed water pump (should see coolant recirculating in the radiator as engine temps climb)

plugged radiator internally

thermostat not opening personal favorite... temp gauge showing an over heat condition but the engine is actually at a good temp

so... if you have a thermal temp gun you can compare the thermostat housing temp with the gauge and see if that's reading correctly

warm up that engine and compare temps on the upper radiator hose to the lower and let me know what you find
