Check the fuel solenoid in the carburetor. Listen for the click when the engine is cold, just turn key on and off, and listen for the click at the carb, learn what it sounds like, then when the mower quits, turn key on and off and listen for the click, no click, no fuel.. Would seem to be fuel related, as twin engine usually will not lose spark on both cylinders. If not the fuel solenoid, then check the engine for spark.
