I have a Toro TimeCutter Model 74631. It has been sitting

Customer Question

Good Morning. I have a Toro TimeCutter Model 74631. It has been sitting since last November. It will not start. It makes a loud clicking noise like when a car is not getting enough juice from its battery. I disconnected the battery last November and winterized it as usual. I have charged the battery, cleaned all the visible electrical connections, opened the control panel, checked the fuses and cleaned all connections. Still will not start. What else should I try? I live in the boonies far from a dealer and have no way to transport it. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Hello. Thank you for choosing Just Answer. I will be happy to assist you. Do you know if the clicking is coming from your starter solenoid?
