Customer Question

My gravely 160Z runs good until mower is engaged, then when yyou try to mow it pulls engine down to a complete stall. Sounds really labored or maybe fuel starved. But again, runs fine when not mowing. Please help!

What engine do you have? Twin engine? Run a cylinder test. Loosen the spark plug wires, and with engine idling, remove spark plug wires one at a time. Engine should continue to run. If engine dies when one wire is removed, the opposite cylinder is not firing. Check it for spark and compression.
