My weedeater is a 2 stroke cub cadet. It starts fine and idles good but when I press the throttle it dies

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.It sounds like the carburetor is slightly out of adjustment which is causing the engine to not get enough fuel in order to accelerate properly. I would try to adjust the high side carburetor screw about an 1/8 of a turn counterclockwise which should solve your issue.
