I cannot get my clutch cover back on. It appears the collar

Customer Question

I cannot get my clutch cover back on. It appears the collar inside the clutch plate may be out of round and therefore not going inside or outside of the clutch housing/drive. Does this collar go on the inside of the clutch housing or outside and if I cannot get it to do so, what are my fix options?

Hello, the chain brake may have been engaged when you removed the side cover. If you had to pry it off then it was. The band could get bent if pried off.The clutch drum fits inside the brake band

If needed remove the clutch drum and attach side cover and reset the brake.
