Off grid batt/solar inverter/ backup with Generac ECOGEN

Customer Question

off grid batt/solar inverter/ backup with Generac ECOGEN 6000 was hooked up with good output but not seeing the battery being charged. i thought that was auto function internally managed by the ECOGEN itself, and not by input from charger/inverter system.
if the latter is the case, i.e., re-charge through the inverter/charger, where is connection made on generator to effect that charging?

Battery charging on this unit is done through the controller.

You need to run a 120V AC output to the T1 and neutral bus of the genset connections from the inverter.
