Hello, I just ran over an extension cord, I cut it all away but I noticed the blade axle had slipped out of the scoop housing. I got it back in and now the blades will not turn. This is a brand new machine as well I notice I cannot move it out of gear, the gear cable is really taugt

Make and model? Look at the idler that the drive cable goes to, it may be past center and will need to be loosed to get it back into position. Be sure you have spark plug wire removed anytime you are trying to turn the auger and impeller.
