Hello, and thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is***** will be happy to assist you. You and I need to determine if our problem is fuel related, or ignition related. Do you have some carburetor cleaner in a can?

Thanks for your response. Can you spray a small burst of carburetor cleaner, directly into your carburetor, to see if your engine will start up, and run briefly?

We can continue from here. Thanks!

If your engine starts up and runs briefly, then your ignition is ok, and your carburetor is very likely at fault.

Chris, this will give us a starting point.
