I have 2 year old a 2840 Troy Bilt snow thrower. Was working

Customer Question

I have 2 year old a 2840 Troy Bilt snow thrower. Was working fine at the end of last winter. Got it out this week but won't start. Fresh gas. Crankcase oil and gearbox oil all OK. Plugged it in. Pushed primer 3-4 times. Hit starter. Electric starter turned it over perfectly but won't run. Choke on full. Throttle on full. Little red safety plunger pushed in all the way. Tried several times. Let it rest. Started over again. No unluck.

Thank you for that

Ok 2 things to do

use carb cleaner or starting fluid , and spray in to the air cleaner

also before you try to start , use a screwdriver handle , and tap/bang on the inlet of the carb

your shut off needle is stuck closed, no fuel , this should work

I hope this helped you
