I have a toro power max 1028 lxe snow blower & my throttle

Customer Question

I have a toro power max 1028 lxe snow blower & my throttle control does not work. I found a circular spring had become disconnected. My problem is I cannot find where the bent end connects to. I hope you can help me.

I FOUND PIC 84F2D64C173_HM.JPG
LOOKED VERY SIMILAR. DOES THE SPRING CLIP IN THE NOTCH OR IN THE HOLE. I TRIED PUTTING IT IN THE NOTCH BUT WHEN I RAISED THE THROTTLE IT WAS OK.WHEN I LOWERED IT , IT DID NOT PULL BACK. IT STAYED AT FULL THROTTLE. ANY IDEAS?

Sometimes the throttle shaft on the carb gums up and sticks. Does the shaft move back and forth freely?

Do you have a drawing on how every attaches?

With these pics I have a pretty good idea what's happened. It's very tight to get in to see the bottom of the spring looks like it's unhooked too. I,all check it tomorrow. I'll let you know. Thank you very much.
