My generator has no spark from spark plug, what do I do

Does the machine have an oil sensor on it? It could be that the oil level is a little low which the sensor will pick up on and not allow the ignition to fire. If there is not oil sensor then I would remove the ground wire that is plugged onto the ignition coil and spin the engine to see if you have spark then, if you do then it is a wiring issue backwards through the wiring system a wire has to be shorted out that is keeping it from firing. If you still don't have spark with the wire unplugged then the ignition coil has gone bad and will need to be replaced.
