My riding mower will go good and then stop pulling I can put it in reverse it go backwards and I put it in forward and it go fine for a while and I have to do it again

# ***** is is variable pulley, it is what has to regulate the speed. Try oiling it from the top with oil, It has to rotate freely and change the pulley shape. If it sticks, the speed can be reduced.

Transmission is a geared transmission so it can't slip. So problem has to be with the two drive belts or the variable pulley.
