how do I remove the hydraulic pump drive coupler from the crank on a kohler 23 command pro

Make and model of application?

Coupler is bolted to flywheel with 4, 1/4 inch bolts. 7/16 heads.

Not on the flywheel end

Application? If on the front of unit, the crankshaft will be keyed and the adapter would be held with a 7/16 bolt in the center. With bolt removed, the adapter may need to be removed with a puller.
