Hi Trying to remove the auger drive belt on a craftsman###-##-####snow blower. The auger idler pulley bracket is in the way.

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to Just Answer. Have you separated the auger housing from the body of the snowblower ? . It will get the auger pulley and auger out of the way . Also if your having trouble getting it off the pulley you can use a padlock and put it around the belt then with the spark plug unhooked pull the lock around the pulley , this will pop the belt off
