Customer Question

I have the Toro Electric lawn mower. my question involves wider storage. I keep the mower in an unheated shed in the winter. Is it safe to keep it plugged into the charger during the winter months to prevent damage to the battery?

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

Yes, you will be okay to leave it plugged in all winter long. There is no chance of the battery overcharging due to the built in modifications of the charger, the charger will only charge the battery when it senses the battery being low. This can actually help to prolong the life of the battery and it will insure that the machine is ready for use in the spring when you want to use it.

Thank you it has been a pleasure to assist you.
