Customer Question

I have a new Cub Cadet 528-2X. There is a yellow fill cap on the right side of the engine which is not labeled. What is it? Oil fill and check seems to be via the dipstick which is also yellow.

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

Is this yellow cap down low on the right side of the engine? If so, then it is an auxiliary oil check plug. Depending on how and where this engine is mounted you may not be able to get to all of the oil check plugs or even the dipstick so the engine manufacture has added some options so that you can always get to the plug to check the oil.
