My stihl FS 55 starts on choke ok and but runs very slow or dies when I take off the choke.
if I gradually increase the throttle it sometimes works for a while but very slowly.

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to just answer, it sounds like a carburetor issue, it could be one of the air fuel mixture passage ways or the screen in the carburetor itself . Did it have gas in it the whole time ?
