Hello, my name is Hank.

Have you checked all 3 circuit breakers on the control panel to make sure they are not tripped?

Exactly where and how are you testing for voltage?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Circuit breakers are ok. brushes are like new
110 power tools work fine. When trying a 220 air compressor the generator seems like it is over working. The generator does not keep the compressor going. The compressor ran fine in the past. Compressor runs good on house current. Could it be diodes? If so how do I check them? Is there anything else I should check? Don
Expert:  Hank F. replied 1 year ago.

The first thing you need to do here is to obtain voltage and frequency readings, with no load on the genset.

What voltage and frequency do you get?

Now check them again, with a good load on the genset?

What size load are you using, and what readings to you get?

Expert:  Hank F. replied 1 year ago.

Did you get the readings yet?
