I have a 2002 deere gator 6x4 trail. i took the thermostat

i have a 2002 john deere gator 6x4 green trail. i took the thermostat out everything from radiator to water pump is brand new. bled the system from the engine and now creating pressure and my radiator cap is leaking. do i need to put thermostat back in to allow a pressure drop.

You likely have a bad head gasket!

Does pressure Increase as soon as engine is started? If so, bad head or head gasket.
