Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am going to assist you with this.

nh oh ms/1918c serial number is(###) ###-####and is 12 volts
Expert:  Hank F. replied 2 years ago.

OK, I get that it is a basic NH series, but there is no NHOH.

I would like you to please recheck that model number while you are working on this.

The NH series engines utilizes a battery powered, breaker point ignition system.

If you are getting intermittent fire, it sounds like you either have a loose wire in the ignition system, or may well have a set of bad points.

Check all the wiring connections to make sure they are clean and tight.

Check/clean/adjust/replace the points as necessary. Gap spec is .016"

Well no but if I could have taken pic of plate on motor and sent it to you It would have siad nh oh but I did not enjoy being called a liar. I had no reason to lie I just wanted a answer.

I wasn't calling you a liar. It is not at all uncommon for someone to misread a data plate.
