Engine is Kawasaki!
Look at the solenoid in the carb. Has to have 12 volts, and has to open with key on.
If not, it keeps main jet plugged.
you can hear it click when you plug it in
Yes, but is it opening?
If not the fuel solenoid, the needle valve and float are not letting gas in.
how do you test it
21188 is solenoid. Best test is to remove and plug the hole for test.
tried a diff carb of one that runs still no start and will not even start on starter fuild what are the valve suppose to be set at seem tight
.004 to .006 inch, intake and exhaust.
Fuel solenoid has 12 volts?
have 12 volt and set valve still no start even on either
No start on ether? Do you still have spark?
If spark, and fuel, and compression, all that is left is the timing.
The key between flywheel and crankshaft.
Check that it is ok
How did this all start? What is compression reading?
OK, how did this all start? What as the compression readings?
What is compression reading?
When did engine last run? has engine been apart, where crank and cam could get out of time?
Running when parked in the garage went out to start it no start
Fuel good, not contaminated with water?
Still can't get it to the plug and used a diff carb that was of a running motor
I don't think the fuel solenoid is opening.
removed fuel solenoid and still no start then got it running would not shut off put hand over carb and it shut off but then no restart would back fire throw carb and blow gas out
Re-install the solenoid and try it.
