Hank f. I have a 5.5hgjab-1038c that gets code 32. Long story short, i plugged into house power for a split second, heard a light buzzing sound. Now it won't stay running. Output vac only goes up to 2v while i hold the start button

Hank where are you? You're the only guy I've seen answer these questions. .

If you plugged the genset into house power, you have fried the control board.

This is why it is against the law to plug a genset directly into a house. It must be connected through a transfer switch.

Lol im aware of the laws. I made an on-board starter battery charging system. I was setting it up for storage not running it. That's behind the breakers correct? Control board and voltage regulator in one? How do you like the flightsystems version?

I love the Flight systems units. I prefer them over the OEM.
