Customer Question

I have a JD 332 diesel tractor which recently developed a problem.
Whenever I turn on the PTO for the mower deck and start cutting a thicker patch of grass the 25 amp fuse blows.
If I turn on the PTO and just leave the tractor sitting without cutting grass it seems to be OK.
I think there is something with the PTO clutch which is causing this issue but cannot seem to find out where.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Try adjusting the three self locking nuts, to move the magnet closer to the armature.

If that does not help, the coil needs replacing, it should not pull over 5 amps!
