Customer Question

I'm prepping my Stihl chainsaw for some work this weekend. It starts fine but when I rev it up full, it dies like I have turned it off. It restarts fine, just can't run it full without it dying.

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to Just Answer. It honestly sounds like your high speed jet or fuel passage way could be partially blocked , it could also be the screen in the carburetor . Was there any old gas in the saw ?
