I have a model 3KVC-83C that floods because the needle in the carb does not seal. I tried to soak the needle in wintergreen & alcohol, but no help. As you are know,the carb is not cheap.

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to just answer. , usually it's the brass inlet valve that wears and the needle doesn't seal with it but be careful because it will allow gas to mix with the oil in the crankcase and can blow the motor up
