Customer Question

My hydro pedal on my LT 1045 is broken and goes to the floor when I press forward and it does not go forward, but backwards is ok. What's broken?

I hope it's not the transmission...........maybe a spring?

Hi, my name is***** will be assisting you.

Can you tell me how old your machine is? Can you provide the model and serial number from the frame so that I can better assist you?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It is a cub cadet Lt 1045. 7 years old. Can't find serial number.

The first thing that I would look at on your machine would be the control rod or linkage that goes between the foot pedal and the transmission. I would look at back where it attaches to the transmission to make sure that it has not come loose. It could still push the drive control backwards but would not pull it forward when the pedal is operated. You haven't by chance had either one of the rear wheels off due to fixing or repairing a flat just prior the having this problem have you?
