I have a Briggs Stratton gasoline engine on a portable generator. I live on the Gulf Coast where occasionally we have hurricanes and lose power. My question: Is it possible to convert my gasoline engine to natural gas?

Yes, you can convert the engine to natural gas.

You will need a conversion kit that will consist of an adapter, regulator and valve that will allow you to convert it. The best place to go is to you local gas company to get the kit. Briggs does not offer a kit go do this.
