I have a Kohler CH22S-66527 with 150 psi compression in one

Customer Question

I have a Kohler CH22S-66527 with 150 psi compression in one cylinder, and 30 psi in the other. Squirting oil in the dead cylinder does not raise the compression at all. Valve? Piston?

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

if the compression does not raise, with oil

it is most likely a valve, but it would be popping in the intake or exhaust

if it is not doing this, then Piston Rings

then I suggest you replace the rings,
