Customer Question

I have a cub cadet 1554 riding mower..2003 model.. hydrostatic trans. I recently had BOTH rear axles week apart. After replacing the axles, the mower now will go slower and slower as it gets hot... eventually not able to go uphill at all.

Hello and thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will do my very best to get you the answer you need to your question.
Did you purge the air from your transaxle, after you replaced your axles? Check your drive belt. If it is slipping, this can affect the performance of your transaxle. We can continue from here. Thanks!
