Last December I put a antifreeze additive that said it could stay in

Chances are if that one cylinder got to hot it can blow the head gasket and let water in cylinder and will blow white smoke. It can also do damage to the piston and cylinder if it got way to hot. You may be lucky and its just a head gasket.
