II looked at the parts schematic and ordered the appropriate part.

?? has to be the correct one. Right & left will not interchange

If you remove the kill wires, going to the stop diode, will both sides fire?

I removed both kill wires. plugged them in one at a time. The engine stopped when I plugged the one that I know was running. I can try the opposite. it stops when the wire from the from the good coil is removed.

When you remove spark plug wire. and engine dies, it is th e opposite cylinder!
