Customer: Hey Rick. I have cubcadet rtz50 17ba5a7p712. Blades stopped working so I changed PTO switch worked fine after 1/2-1hr it stopped again. So called cubcadet they said might be electrical problems. Brought it to service man who checked all wires and changet PTO switch again. The same worked for 1/2-1hr and stopped again. Now I bought new PTO switch and Clutch, but still won't work. Do you have any idea what else can be wrong with it?

Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! Does it work when cold, and then cuts off while mowing? Clutch will drop out if voltage drops below 12 volts. Sounds like a low voltage problem, and can be as simple as replacing the battery with a larger CCA rated battery a 350 CCA battery is much better choice that the 250 CCA rated battery that comes with unit. The more CCA amps, has more reserve and does not drop voltage like the smaller battery.
