Customer Question

Our mower (about 6 years) 46" ZTR was recently serviced including replacing battery (although they had been told it was new & didn't need one). Has gas, has only been used a few times since & now it will not turn over. It almost will start, but will not catch. Can't figure out the problem since they went thru everything & the bill was over $500.

Hi I'm Wayne
I will try to help you with this
1st I suggest you put a stop payment to that repair shop
you have 6 months to do so
how long has it been sitting, I suspect carb problems,
lack of gas due to dirt/jell in the main jets
try adding sea Foam to thank 2-3 oz, from auto parts store
if that does not work , remove and boil out carb and install rebuild kit
boil out in a pot of hot water for 15-20 min
Hi If this helped you, Please rate my answer

They came out and took the mower to their shop. Something with the choke or throttle was stuck and became gas soaked. It was not something we could fix. They fixed it, delivered it at no cost.
