Customer Question

I am looking to purchase a Toro 266H. It has low hours (230) and runs very well. My question is that when it is at idle, it smokes a blue (oil) smoke. When at running rpm, it doesn't smoke at all. The engine sounds great with no knocks, or odd sounds. What could cause the oil smoke at low rpms?

Hi my name is ***** ***** welcome to just answer . My concern is the valve seals, blue smoke is oil burning but at low idle the valve seals could me not sealing and allowing a tiny bit of oil through . , a valve adjust may help , there seems to be another tractor with this issue as well on craigslist
but it does sound like a valve seal problem
