I have a Snapper NXT 27 hp &S. Cutting grass today everything

Customer Question

I have a Snapper NXT 27 hp B&S. Cutting grass today everything fine three quarters of the way then noticed it just wasn't running quite right. When I idled down blades still engaged deck was shaking pretty good like a bad blade or spindle. Checked the deck, blades, spindles and pulleys all seem fine. Fired it back up still doesn't seem right but engaged the blades and the motor seems to start missing at higher rpms its better. Fuel filter is not very full but it seems like more of a miss than fuel starvation. Plug wires are seated. Thats as far as i got tonight any Ideas? Thanks Paul

Welcome to JUST ANSWER small engines, let me try to help you !! Twin Briggs, do a cylinder test. loosen the spark plug wires and then with engine idling, remove one plug wire at a time. If engine dies when one is removed, the opposite cylinder is missing Check it for spark and compression, if it has both, check the valves, you may have a bent or broken push rod!
