Can you provide me with the model of the unit?
If this model is equipped with an oil sensor/safety, then first I'd like you to check oil level and make sure it is full to manufacturer specifications. If the oil level is full and has a oil sensor, I'd like you to disconnect the wiring from the sensor and attempt to start.
If this unit does not have an oil level sensor, make sure fuel is fresh, clean, and flowing, that you're choking the carburetor for initial startup up, and that spark plug boot is secured.
Please provide me info on this unit like how long this issue has been happening, when was the last time the unit operated properly, etc.
