Customer Question

Have a Troy Built small cultivator. Has 26.2 cc engine. Was working fine and stopped suddenly. Checked spark plug...OK, has gas. When pulling starter cord, oil spues out from a little valve located in the plastic base around the throttle/carburettor. This valve is connected to a little hose that runs down into some part in the lower engine. Keep cranking and oil continues to spue out and engine will not start. Any ideas why this oil is spurting out? Feel it is related to the none startability of the engine

Hello, usually when that happens it is because the oil is overfilled. The tiller comes with a small bottle of oil (3.04 oz) and if you added more it is overfilled. Check oil while engine is in this position. If any oil comes out it is overfilled.
